About This Website
mepcobillchecker.com.pk is an independent guide for people who receive electricity bills from MEPCO (Multan Electric Power Company). We explain how to look up, read, pay and dispute a MEPCO bill, using MEPCO’s, PITC’s and NEPRA’s own published rules.
We are not MEPCO, PITC or NEPRA, and we are not connected to them. Bills come from PITC’s official bill service; we cannot change a bill, and the bill checker on this site does not save the numbers you enter.
Who runs this site
This website is run by Ali Basheer, a digital marketing consultant based in Pakistan.
What you can rely on here
- Sources you can check. Rates, rules and procedures link to the official document they come from.
- A “last verified” date on every guide. It is the date we last checked the page against its sources, not just the date it was edited.
- Clear labels. Where we explain something in our own words or give a worked example, we say so. Where an official source is unclear or two official sources disagree, we tell you and do not fill the gap with a guess.
How we research and update pages is set out in our editorial policy.
What we cannot do
- Register complaints, change bills, or approve instalments or connections — only MEPCO can. Our complaints guide shows the official routes.
- Guarantee that a rate or rule has not changed since our last check. Adjustments change monthly and quarterly; your printed bill is always the final amount.
How the site is funded
The site does not currently show advertising. We do not accept payment to change what we write.
