How to look up your bill on the official PITC page
- Open the official MEPCO bill page on PITC’s website.
- Choose Reference No or Customer ID.
- Type the number exactly as printed on your bill. The reference number box takes 14 digits.
- Press Search. Use your browser’s print option to print the bill or save it as a PDF.
PITC describes its copy as a print-ready duplicate “for payment at any branch” (PITC Web Bill).
Where to find your reference number
It is printed near the top of every MEPCO bill. MEPCO introduced a new, simpler bill layout in October 2026, and the new bills also carry a QR code (APP, October 2026). No bill at hand? Look for an older bill for the same connection, or ask your MEPCO customer service centre.
Can I check my MEPCO bill by CNIC?
No. PITC does not offer bill lookup by CNIC, and neither does any official MEPCO page. The only two ways to open your bill online are your 14-digit reference number and your 10-digit consumer ID, both printed on any old bill.
No old bill at hand? Check the payment history of the banking or wallet app you last paid with — it usually shows the reference number. Or visit your MEPCO sub-division office with your CNIC and they can give you your consumer ID for future checks.
Check your bill by SMS (no internet needed)
- For your current bill: text PITC, a space, then your 14-digit reference number, and send it to 8334. You will get the amount and due date back by SMS.
- For automatic monthly alerts: send your reference number to 8118 once, and your bill details will arrive by SMS each month.
Ways to pay your MEPCO bill
Pay online with JazzCash, Easypaisa, or any major bank app (HBL, UBL, Meezan, MCB, Allied Bank), or via Raast. You can also pay at any bank branch, post office, or NADRA e-Sahulat centre. Always save your payment receipt; if the next bill still shows arrears, take the receipt to your MEPCO customer service centre.
Keep your reference number private
The reference number is all that is needed to open your bill online, and the bill shows your name, address and payment record. Share it only with people you trust, and avoid posting photos of your bill on social media. The bill checker on this site does not save the numbers you enter.

- Check every digit — one wrong digit returns nothing.
- Try the other option — search by customer ID if the reference number fails, or the other way round.
- Still nothing? The PITC site may be busy; try again later. If your bill never appears, ask your MEPCO sub-division office or customer service centre.
What changed on MEPCO bills in October 2026
MEPCO introduced a new, simpler bill layout in October 2026, and the new bills also carry a QR code. Your reference number stays the same and is still printed near the top. No. Bill lookup by CNIC is not available. You need the reference number or consumer ID from any old bill. If you have neither, your payment app history or your sub-division office (with your CNIC) can help you recover it.
Use your 10-digit consumer ID instead — it is printed just below the reference number on any previous bill and never changes.
Near the top of every MEPCO bill, in the box labelled “Reference No”. It has 14 digits and stays the same every month.
