Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information mepcobillschecker.com.pk (MEPCO Bill Guide) handles when you use the site, and why. The site is an independent information website and is not connected to MEPCO, PITC or NEPRA.

Bill checker

When you use the bill checker, the reference number or customer ID you enter is used to request your bill from PITC’s official bill service, so that it can be shown to you. We do not save the numbers you enter. PITC’s own policies apply to its bill service.

Bill calculator

The bill calculator runs entirely in your browser. The units and adjustments you enter are not sent to us.

Contact form and email

If you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and message so that we can reply. Please do not send reference numbers, CNIC numbers or photos of bills.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they use. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. Google’s use of this data is described in its privacy policy. You can block analytics cookies through your browser settings.

WhatsApp chat button

The site shows a WhatsApp chat button. If you choose to use it, your message is sent through WhatsApp and WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

Advertising

The site does not currently show advertising. If that changes, this policy will be updated before ads are shown.
